Our Furniture

Heirloom quality furniture with extraordinary craftsmanship

Amish Craftsmanship

Amish craftsmen use traditional methods for construction, meaning their products are durable, hand-crafted and feature impressive attention to detail. Amish built furniture does not contain any toxic chemicals that typical factory produced furniture does. You can expect 100% wood construction, instead of particle board, which ensures each piece will last a lifetime.
Our Tables

In all the tables we sell there is a quality of workmanship that assures many years of retained beauty and endurance. This workmanship can be found in the attention to the smallest details found throughout the line.

Mortise and Tenon construction adds strength to each table’s design while preserving the fine detail of its design.

table-slideHigh quality gear slides provide ease in opening and closing the table tops while providing the convenience of self leaf storage on many table designs. Wood slides are designed for easy operation and are built for superior table top support.

Table tops are made of one inch solid wood and fitted with solid steam-bent skirts.

amish-sandingSpecially designed sanding equipment ensures that each table is sanded smoothly and uniformly.

Solid hardwood, fully extendable drawers allow easy access and more usable storage space.

As each table is unique, it is branded and numbered with its own serial number for future reference.

table-leg-connectionLeaves are cut to fit each table precisely and receive the table’s serial number along with its numeric order for installation.

Leg connections are reinforced by a v-grooved corner block assembly with a two bolt attachment.

Our Chairs

chair-productionEach chair part is carefully produced to strict specifications.

During the assembly process all spindle chairs are glued and screwed and mission chairs are tenon and mortised for increased strength and durability. After assembly, each chair is hand sanded prior to being sent on to the finishing facility.

chair-assemblyDuring the finishing process chairs receive a coat of stain applied by spray to assure complete coverage. The stain is then hand rubbed to remove excess and provide an even and consistent color while enhancing the beauty of each chair’s unique grain.

chair-constructionAfter a drying period each chair is given a coat of sealer and is again hand sanded prior to finishing. This process reduces any raised grain that may have resulted from the sealing process.

Finally, a finish coat is applied providing an even luster that will provide years of durable beauty to every chair.

Where is Our Furniture Made?

100% of our inventory is hand-made in the United States.  All of our pieces are heirloom quality furniture and are built on Amish farms in Indiana and Ohio. Made from solid American hardwoods like solid oak, hickory, cherry, maple, grey elm, walnut, rustic cherry, rustic hickory and rustic quarter-sawn oak with no veneered plywood or particle board allowed.
Our Beds

Our Amish bed builders use a high quality bolt system rather than hook on rails to provide the strongest, most solid bed on the market. They also use dovetail slat construction with attached posts extending to the floor under the center of the bed. This feature provides the ultimate support for your mattress and boxspring.

Our beds are handcrafted using the finest woods available. There is quality workmanship in every bed that assures many years of endurance. This workmanship can be found in the attention to detail that makes each bed unique and beautiful, a family heirloom for future generations.

Our Sofas

We work with Amish sofa builders who put quality first, and it shows in their solid, long-lasting construction.  From the hardwood maple frames and the industry-leading foam and springs, to the skilled craftsmen putting it all together, we’re proud of every piece of furniture we have on our showroom floor.

We want your furniture to be your refuge after a long day, your favorite place to relax… in short, the best seat in your house.  That’s why our builders put extra padding throughout our furniture, and use the best foam available to the industry, leaving you with an heirloom quality sofa that will last generations.
